Callaway FT-i Driver
Callaway’s top of the range model is designed to allow golfers at all levels to improve their driving. Again, like the FT-5 our pro hit it well and it stood up to most drivers on test but it didn’t receive overwhelming praise from our testers and this keeps it back in the pack. If you fancy the look of it then get fitted for head bias, loft and shaft.
With the revolutionary of 460cc Complete Inertial Design, the Callaway FT-i Driver pushes the boundaries of shape, our imagination and the rules. By positioning weight to the extreme corners of the clubhead, the Callaway FT-i Driver produces the highest Moment of Inertia of any driver on the market today, which results in unparalleled forgiveness.
460cc Complete Inertial Design
From positions discretionary weight to the extreme corners of the clubhead, it raises the moment of inertia (MOI) for unparalleled resistance to twist both horizontally and vertically and provide forgiveness on shots hit all over the face.
Carbon Composite Body
The material is used to make the Callaway FT-i Driver body is significantly lighter than titanium and allows Callaway Golf engineers to move discretionary weight where it is needed most, which results in better stability and distance.
CT/VFT Titanium Cup Face
Modified version of VFT Technology in which face thicknesses are designed specifically to maximize performance under the new USGA Characteristic Time test results in our largest and most robust face for increased ball speed on shots hit all over the face.
OptiFit Weighting System
It enables golfers to customize their driver by giving them three different center of gravity (CG) locations to choose in most lofts: Draw for promoting a draw or reducing a slice/fade; Neutral for maximum workability; or Fade for promoting a fade or reducing a hook/draw
