To make sure that your control is not compromised the Ping Rapture, constructed from a 17-4 stainless steel body with a titanium face and 25 grams of savings in weight, allows for a larger loft by letting the light weight titanium face redistribute the weight to the wider tungsten sole for a greater center of gravity.

This is much like the technology that went into the TaylorMade r7 XD irons. To make sure you get that high trajectory and good contact on the ball it was designed with a deep undercut cavity, and a wider sole.
