Callaway FT-i Neutral Driver

The Callaway FT-i Neutral Driver is a monster hitter with a big heart. It will forgive your little misses and off centre shots and power you to better scores. This driver head is square-shaped and utilizes Fusion Technology, which allows weight to be distributed to the far corners of the clubhead for unparalleled resistance to twisting, making it one of the most unusual and accurate drivers to date.

By building the head with carbon composite, which is lighter than titanium, Callaway allowed themselves to move the weight around the head, positioning it at the extreme perimeter and so increasing the Moment Of Inertia massively. The Moment of Inertia, essentially, is the amount a club head resists twisting or buckling when impacted off centre. A club that buckles very little is said to have forgiveness because it doesn’t punish off centre hits.

Callaway FT-i Neutral Driver Features:

>>  Fusion Technology: Creates maximum perimeter weighting and more discretionary weight by combining a carbon composite body with the titanium face cup, allowing for precise positioning of the CG (center of gravity) to generate the straightest drives possible

>> All Titanium: 460cc titanium drivers have made great improvements in stability and MOI. However, the weight of titanium virtually eliminates discretionary weight distribution, which is available in the FT-i driver.

>> Carbon Composite Body: Using materials significantly lighter than titanium creates discretionary mass that is distributed to the extreme perimeter, resulting in increased stability and longer, straighter bombs down the fairway.

>> CT/VFT Titanium Cup Face : Callaway's largest, hottest face for increased ball speed on shots hit all over the face.

Ernie Els, who finished the season ranked No. 17 in the world, has been playing Callaway's yet-to-be-released Callaway FT-i Neutral Driver in recently events. The three-piece, triangular-shaped head features a lightweight carbon composite body that is fused to a titanium face and a high-density rear weight.
